Mechanical contracting

We take a mechanical scope from start to finish: steel fabricated in the shop, equipment installed on site, systems connected and handed over. On transformer work we supply the complete package, from bushings, coolers and conservators to the pipework between them. Our supervisors and QA/QC engineers stay on site for the duration of the job, so the client deals with one contractor instead of coordinating four. We are used to working inside shutdown windows, where the sequence matters as much as the number of people on the job.

• Shop fabrication of structural steel, platforms, supports and access structures
• Mechanical installation of plant and equipment, including setting and alignment
• Transformer packages: bushings, coolers, conservators and connecting pipework
• Removal and replacement of existing equipment during shutdowns
• Lifting and rigging planned together with the installation sequence
• One contract and one schedule for the whole scope
• Our own supervisors and QA/QC engineers on site for the duration
• Punch list cleared and mechanical completion handed over as a package
