Engine room piping and machinery installation

Machinery on resilient mounts, and the seawater, bilge and fuel lines that connect it. The mounts went down first; the piping followed, through a compartment that was already full. Foundations, penetrations and equipment installation

The steel that has to be in place before the equipment. We made and set the seats and frames, cut the openings and welded in the bulkhead penetrations, and fitted the supports for the cable and pipe routes. Large-bore pipe replacement

Large-bore pipework replaced inside an existing plant. We prefabricated the spools, rigged them into position on chain hoists off the plant steel, and welded them in place. Grate bar replacement

Grate bars replaced inside the furnace of a waste-to-energy plant during the outage. The old bars came out one row at a time, cut free where they were seized, and the new ones went back set to the specified gap. Fan replacement and duct adaptation

An extraction fan replaced on a process platform. The ducting that was already there did not suit the new unit, so we cut it back, made the transition pieces to fit, and connected the fan on both sides. Offshore rope access welding

Welding on the outside of an offshore platform, carried out on rope access. There is no scaffold and no basket over the side, so the welder reaches the joint on ropes and works from the harness. Tank and vessel fabrication

Valve station and tie-in piping

A new valve station at the base of a storage tank. We set and levelled the valves, fitted the spools, welded and bolted the joints, and tied the run into the existing pipe rack. Tank internals, nozzles and attachments

Agitator replacement inside a storage tank

The shaft runs from the drive mounting on the roof down to a bearing at the floor, with two impellers on it. Read the job ↑
